The admission procedure begins for the applicant by submitting his/her hand written application or online application http://is.uniag.sk/prihlaska/ for study to the faculty. The application should be delivered in the time period determined by the faculty. Failure to do so will result application withdrawn from further consideration
All applicants intending to study English language based study programmes are required to show their ability to understand and express themselves in both written and spoken English, is sufficiently high for them to derive full benefit from their degree course.
Applicants whose academic qualifications meet the University’s admission requirements, but whose English language proficiency is not accepted as equivalent, may be offered a place at FEM conditionally provided they will improve English language knowledge prior to beginning of their studies. A number of English language tests are accepted from EU and Foreign students. Please contact the study office for further details.
For students who need to improve their English language skills, the Faculty's department of Languages provides a range of pre-sessional (before your degree begins) and in-sessional (during your degree) courses.
There is a written entrance examination to all bachelors study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Management. Completion of secondary school is the prerequisite for admission to the Slovak University of Agriculture.
The applicants select two fields of study out of three (Mathematics, Economics and A Foreign Language). The study materials for entrance examination is available to applicants in advance via the study office. The entrance examination covers study material taught at grammar schools and it is prepared in cooperation with grammar school teachers and principals.
The decision of the admission procedure will be informed to the applicants in writing within 30 days from verification of fulfilment of conditions for admission.
The applicants having received a decision on non-admission to study at the faculty, may request an appeal. The request is presented to the higher authorities having issued the decision, in a time period of eight days from its delivery.
