Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
 A student completing the subject gets a new theoretical knowledge of the internal structure and working methods of personal computer, the fundamentals of algorithms and program management roles computers, as well as the work with text editor and spreadsheet. These skills enable him to better use in practice characteristics of modern ICT equipment. The level of acquisition of theoretical knowledge and skills students demonstrate on tests and preparing seminar work.

Logical foundations of digital computers,
Number System,
Algorithms and algorithm development,
Flowcharts,
Hardware and software of personal computers,
MS Windows operating system,
Working with Text MS Word,
Work in the spreadsheet MS Excel.
