Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to make the theoretical analysis of the system of the international relations. Student is able to identify the functions of the individual actors of international relations states, international organizations, supranational companies. Student will get to know the principles of the forming and realisation of the state foreign policy.

Course contents:
The student will acquire knowledge about the patterns of international relations and their main actors. Student will understand the interaction of international economic and political relations. Student will understand the importance of the process of institutionalization of international relations and the role of the most important international organisations. Will be able to identify the position of Slovak Republic in international relations and the process of implementation of its foreign policy.
