Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
 The aim of the subject is acquisition of new knowledge from the theory of functions of one and more variables,which present a computational tool for solutions of problems in specialized fields. Student acquires practical skills with solution of mathematical and applied problems.

Course contents: Overview of elementary functions, limits of a function and its derivative, use of derivatives in investigation of properties of a function, local extremes of functions, differential calculus of functions of two real variables, local extremes and constrained extremes of functions of two variables, economic applications.
