Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:  The aim of the subject is acquisition of new knowledge from methods used in the theory of indefinite and definite integral, linear algebra and theory of probability. Student acquires practical skills with solution of mathematical and applied problems.

Course contents:
Indefinite integral substitution method, integration "by parts", integration of rational, irrational and trigonometric functions. Definite integral, area of a planar sector, improper integral, economic applications. Linear algebra: vectors, matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations. Probability theory: random events, conditional probability, Bayes' theorem, repeated attempts, Bernoulli scheme.
