Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will get a brief view on the forms of e business, its legal and economic framework, price policies, internet economics and market. Focuses on the challenges of digital economics.

After completion of the subject the student understands economic laws valid for e business, is able to solve costing and pricing questions in e business, is able to apply knowledge when proposing a new e business solution, is able to analyse e business efficiency and is able to identify strengths and weaknesses of e business.

Course contents:
The course provides a brief view on e business, its legal and economic framework, price policies, internet economics and market. Focuses on the challenges of digital economics. Evaluates the forms of e business. e markets, the possibilities of public institutions and privat firms in improving e business efficiency and in providing new products and services, tax and legal issues. Provides information on the possibilities of e business in the internet, its marketing and economic problems with the aim to provide products of a high quality. It pays special attention to the position of electronic systems in the agri food (AFC) complex of Slovak republic and abroad.
